Just trying to find out what requirements the MCS place on solar PV companies. A few come to mind but are they requirements or recommendations? Would be good to see a full list, does anyone know of one?

1. SAP calculation

2. Structural calculation

3. Correct system design

4
Panel testing with copy of results left with end user

5. Part P cert

6. AC and DC isolators

7. Labelling DC cables

8. Information pack to leave with end user

Out of interest is it usual to use an MCB rather than RCD/RCBO to connect into the consumer unit. Every install I have looked at so far has an MCB so I guess it is ok.

read mis3002 and the dti guide and the real consumer code, that will keep you busy for an evening ;-)
