so downloaded one the other day.

Free in the App Store.

You use your camera to scan an area and can pin point positions and the app measures between.

I have yet to try it against known measurements, but looks like it could be a useful tool for measuring cable/trunking runs etc if caught without a tape. A bit like the level app too.
 
My iPhone just updated itself with a measuring app and spirit level. didn’t ask for it, just appeared.

Also in the update was the “how-much-time-are-you-wasting-on-this-phone” notifications.
It knows the difference between time playing games, productive tools and looking at ----, apparently.

...Which is probably how some nerd got the notion of a measuring app...:eek:
