does anyone know why the megger 1502-2 is not a 17th edition tester i,ve thinking of getting a new multifunction tester but i don,t want a 16th edition i,m drawn between fluke and megger

I thought it was with the exception of auto rcd feature?
why not get the 1552 or 53 if youre looking for new?

also any1 use the powersuite, whats it like for stand alone certs and bluetooth capability on the 1553, im about to replace my 1552 but not sure wether to bother with the 1553

Agreed if you are going to spend that sort of money try and stretch to a 1552/1553 if you think that you will be doing a lot of testing then the 1553 with bluetooth would be better as you can download and print making your pen redundant.

I've got the 1502-2 brilliant never missed a beat, though if I were buying from new again would definatly try and future proof myself by getting the current top of the range model

Hi Eifion

All the Megger MFT1500 Series are 17th Edition compliant, which includes the MFT1502/2
