Megger 1553 advice

Hi all,i have recently purchased a megger 1553 mft & because i'm new to the game i was having a play with it & reading the user manual & just wondered what the function for the RCD touch voltage selection would be used for could anyone give me an example.You can select from 25v - 50v.this may be an easy question to most of you so go easy on me,because as i go along i will be asking more of the same questions

i think its for agricultural installations but im sure someone will confirm or correct me

Hi

The 50 volt touch is for non hazardous locations and the 25 volt touch voltage is for agricultural, horticultural and construction sites under 16th Edition
