Error Code 29 relates to a internal power supply fault. It's more than likely that the AA NiMH batteries have reached the end of their serviceable life which will need replacing with cells rated to at least 2000mAH.
If the batteries are fine, you will need the unit repairing as the fault is by an internal component failure. If it is listed on eBay, chances are that it has been damaged in use and you should budget around £200+VAT for a repair.
