I've deleted a company in Midlands who quoted the best price & approach for repair & calibration to my MFT. I know of 2x places 'Certific8' & 'The Calibration Centre'. I was getting lousy prices for the repair. Companies stipulating a flat fee regardless of having taken it in to view the problem. So wonder if anybody has recommendation to a Midlands Calibration company. Don't need on-site, so guess it doesn't need to be local as most expect you to post it off.

Found the Calibration Centre & had a Great Chat with a Guy on the phone about the repair. Seemed to know what the issue was & gave me a ball park price which beat all the others I looked at. Sending off tomorrow, so will hear from them ref a quote before they start any repair work. Good service.

have heard good things about this firm. based in stafford.

Yeah! Highly recommend them Tel. Straightforward, no nonsense & really pleasant on the phone. £150 estimate for a Calibration, a repair to the Megger MFT for a faulty Socket connection & they're replacing a Lead for me (as I shorted it accidentally)...Some Co's have a standard £150-200 charge for repair BIN which is ridiculous!...think the calibration was £65 which is about the same as many, not the cheapest but I know they've got a good name...
