Hi guys, I have my elecsa assessment in the next few weeks and im going change the cu at my sisters flat.
The cu is supplied by a swa cable so im going to use a metal clad cu and im finding it hard to get a daul RCD met clad cu.
Would it be ok to just use a split load met clad rcd board?
I will put the fire alarm and door bell circuit on the non-protected side and all other circuits on the rcd side?
Will the assessor be happy with this??
I know the 17th regs basically say everything should be on a rcd!! Cheers

wylex do a 5 and 5 for 90 quid all in which includes 10 MCBs, I have installed literally dozens in the last 12 months.

Terminate the SWA into a metal adaptable box and use an insulated CU

Cheers for the advice guys, MDJ where did you get yor wylex cu from?
City Elec do them, you can also get Lewden Metal clad boards from them with dual RCDs and 10 breakers for under 40 notes, ask your local CEF.
