Meters and boards Question

I thought you said you were disconnecting the supply from one meter and swapping it to another.

So basically the meter has 2 live outs. One which is permanent and goes to the house board. The second live out is timed and goes to the storage heater board (only comes on eco7 times)

The eco live tail is taken out of the meter and put into the permanent live tail by use of a Henley block

Yes two customer connection points = two installations.

Well for me it’s like this. We are powering this board into the live tail via a Henley block.
The board is old with no rcd protection.
We are removing old heaters and installing new ones.
I just wanted to know the opinions on this.

I've yet to come across a customer who hasn't regretted making the switch to the heaters you describe.

What is the current rating of the new heaters compared to the old I assume that the fuses are all 16A and you are changing D.P switch to switched fused spur with 13A? therefore the load for that consumer unit is about the same but remember that you are installing additional load during the daytime now.
As a minimum are you doing an Earth Loop Impedance test at each point?

So, even more basically, you're bypassing the E7 unit, that having no output cable. As said previously, you're re feeding a CU.
Is a bit of swerving the regs going on, is your question, then.

Yes all marked as 15amp on the old wylex fuses.
13amp fused spur yes

Yes sometimes pulling the main fuse.
During the day the eco7 tail is dead due to being out of hours.
But yes...to hack into the permanent live tail the fuse would have to be pulled.

I’m just asking does the board need upgrading.
I’d highly doubt I’m accredited to do this main fuse pulling but reading threads on here it seems loads do it

Well obviously I’m not assuming anything. I always make sure.
I’m just making a point of it “should be” dead.
