Sorry but i just had to put my two pennies worth in!!

The last thing the industry needs in the UK right now is bathroom installers thinking that they are competent!! Jesus where is it all going to end!! You Electricians really do need to get your heads together and somehow put a stop once and for all, to all these unrelated builders, plumbers, kitchen fitters, and uncle tom cobley and all, being officially allowed to mess around with electrical installations. All this limited scope electrical rubbish should be brought to an abrupt stop. God knows how it was ever allowed start in the first place!!

When will you get it through your heads, these people are purely out, to cut the qualified electricians out of their installations, contracts and projects. You all know exactly what MINIMUM means in this instance, and that equates to Crap with a capital ''C'' !!

Agree completley E54 - just feels like a david v goliath situation....a massive mountain of corner-cutting twazzocks that will hopefully one day crumble.

The thread you're referring to was closed because the OP was blatently trolling for an arguement. I'm also going to close this one to avoid encouraging him to continue. There's several appropriate threads around the board where this is already being discussed such as the deskilling thread to name one.
