Hi All
Thanks for your help in advance. I am working on a project to wire a number of low voltage charging units on one circuit.

The power will be supplied will be 20amp mains power through 2.5mm cable, each charger is 42V and I wanted to wire them about 2 foot apart. My question is how do I do this safely and ensure the voltage does not drop at the end of the line.

Cheers
Rob

You don’t mention how powerful each charger is or how many there are.
these are crucial details and nothing can be done without that information.

Hi
Yes that makes sense, sorry. Each charger, max input is 240v/50-60hz but we are 230v/50hz locally. Output is 42V 2A

How many could I safely wire in a circuit is the first question. The supply would be 20amp.
Thanks
Rob

Working on an estimate of 0.5A supply to each charger, you could put a standard 32A ring circuit in.
that could supply in the region of 60 chargers.

Hi James
Thanks for the help. The max input for the chargers shows as 2amp on the spec. How can I be sure what amp supply each charger requires, or would it be as per the spec 2amp.
Cheers
Rob
