probablt an element gone down. you need an electrician to sort out what one it is.
 
Maybe diagnose yourself , turn everything off the turn cooker on at main switch, then when you move the dial to distinguish which part it is . Other than that phone electrician/
 
marian, whereabouts are you? could well be a member within spitting distance. can have a look at it ( the cooker ) for you.
