I certainly wasn't suggesting that! But was correcting someone who advised no code and someone else who suggested that a 17th Edition install should be C2 (implying that older installs shouldn't). It would be a C3 for me.

I'm not saying it should, Risty, I'm saying it could...as in pointing out the RCD requirement anyway. If I decided on a C2, it'd be a C2, be it prior to 17th or not.
I repeat, C3, generally.
