Hi,

I am a Grade B Electrical Worker in Hong Kong.

Grade B electrical workers: holds a Higher Certificate in Electrical Engineering issued by the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or an equivalent qualification; and. has at least two years of practical experience in electrical work

I am going to work in the UK next year, does UK accept my qualification and experience? Or do I need to apply for a course or something?

I know somewhere onine there's a rough international elctrical qualification converter but I can't remeber where it was (someone may be along with the information in a bit).

I would contact who ever you are going to work for here in the UK, they should know what qualifications are expected.

What job will you be doing when you get here and responsibility level will you have ?

Depends on the type of work and the location. You are a 'competent person' so legally can carry out installation work, but you won't get on-site commercial work without something like a JIB gold card or relevant qualifications. Check to see if you can get your quals recognised with NARIC.
