Need help replacing a ceiling light

Hi guys,

I need help replacing a ceiling light.
It says the model name is ydw38-2d.

How do I detach it?
I tried just pulling it down, but that doesn't seem to work.

Detach what? the lamp or the fitting?

The lamp.
The fitting is attached with screws, so it's more or less clear how to detach it.

Push up on the fitting (so not to rip it down of ceiling) while pulling down firmly on the lamp..

The lamp didn't get out easily, and I didn't want to use force because I wasn't sure that's the right way.
Now I finally got it detached.
