test died again.... this is 2nd time now and its annoying as i have PIR/Faults to find....! any one got a second hand tester they would like to sell...!!

must be local to durham...!

What tester(s) did you have I have a 1553 but if you are going through them at a rate would you not be better getting a Metrel is cheap I hear its good and you get a warranty

Di log. 9083p

Good news!! I punched it and it started working again!!

Think I need to invest in a new one soon though!!!

Our lass called me aggressive and said that won't look good in a customers house!!

Ha !!! I would like to punch some customers!!

Yes the tester has had new batteries, fuse, LCD screen, rotary knob, case and pcb!!

Same tester since brand new!!

that's got to be a good tester. we once had a telly my old man had to thump to get it to come on. it lasted 20 years.

nothing is more frustrating than unreliable test gear.
i'd be offloading it fast , quality 2nd hand bargins off ebay would be my next step.

My testers a second hand off eBay jobby!!! Bought it 2009 and it had never really been used. Had all paperwork and even warranty on it.. Paid 250 for it so idiot does die I will probably look to eBay again.

£250 for a 2nd hand di-log ?
sheesh not a savvy shopper are you lol
i got this on ebay for £160.......

Megger LCB2000.jpg

cost £500 new , awesome piece of kit.
dilog is a brand you need to avoid , stick to megger and fluke.

I don't mind di log tbh...

I'm actually looking at the seaward stuff as well. Know people who work at the peterlee factory. So might try for a 5 finger discount..

Yeah I know where it is,my apprentice worked there for a bit and my parents neighbour Still works there. I had suspicions as lots of the ethos gear looks the same as seaward... Mind you the di log is the same as well...

Don't like fluke.. Too many diddly bits to mess about with.

They must have an affiliation with CEF , they redirected me to them when I wanted thermal labels, They in turn redirected me to RS, funny world int it.

Their parent company is American , I believe they own di-log too , but not sure on that
