Need some advice ! can I spur off a kitchen single socket that is coming off a fuse spur ?

A friend has added a socket off the back of a single socket that is coming off a fuse spur in the kitchen will this be ok ?

See appendix 15 for guidance. I'm assuming you are talking about spurred branches from a ring final.
Usual rules concerning cable CCC and circuit protection apply.

If it's off of a fused spur then you can have as many sockets as you like however they will be limited by the 13A fuse.

The information given is a bit vague in regards to ‘coming off a fuse spur’.

What is the spur controlling? Is it an appliance or is it the installed socket? If it’s the later then yes you can extend the circuit, if it’s controlling an appliance then you can’t.

As andy78 mentions, read appendix 15 for guidance.
