Discuss New 3 phase supply, does it have to be on a 3 phase MCB or can it go on 3 individual BS88 fuses? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Just been asked the question can a new 3 phase supply be installed into an existing DB that has BS88 fuses in and all current 3 phase supplies are fed from individual fuses or does it need the DB taking out and replacing with a modern 3 phase DB with MCB'S? Just want to get what other people think and why? Thanks
