I have used it to pull down some capping in a domestic job mate very handy stuff and it smells ace!!

yeah, yelow 77 is a good one!

Bear in mind it will vary according to you working on domestic or comm/ind. For example, I would say a 20/25mm bending spring is a necessity for comm/ind.

Could anyone recommend any specific type/brand of the laser tape measures?

Don't use one myself Bane - pointless IMO. I just use a 5m tape measure.

No, next on the agenda is a drill. Combi drill methinks. Bosch or Makita probably after all the posts I've been reading.

Got a cordless yesterday actually. Gonna see how it fares tomorrow when I drill through some steel.

So we have a long list of what everyone thinks is essential to have in the toolbox. But for a scotsman like me where is the cheapest place to buy them, is it online or a local store or something???

A combi drill is a drill and driver combined?

Couldn't you buy a hammer drill that combines the above too?

Basically I'm looking to buy (eventually) a drill/driver and a hammer drill.
