I am not an electrician but will require some help with an issue which I will post on later tonight.

I'm hoping you will be able to help me with the matter.

I am more a painter and decorator self taught and can do odd jobs here and there and can hopefully learn from this forum a great deal.

1st. lesson....don't paint over cable markings.
2nd lesson... do not cut cables off just coz they are in the way of your 4" brush,
3rd lesson. ceiling roses and switches can be undone easier it not painted in.

uh ho. plasterers come next to wet-pants in the asscending order of brain cells, then it's p&d s closely followed by woodworms.

kitchen fitters fit there somewhere, but it's so far below plumbers, it's on a minus scale.
