Discuss new periodic? in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

i thought he must just write it up on toilet paper at home lol, but on a serious note how the hell ami supposed to compete, my work is drying up and iv got 4 lads to pay

Tell the customer exactly what its for and whats involved and then let them make their own mind up?

I think even the customer can fully understand that to do the job in the first place it involves being qualified, labour charges, testing equipment, calibration certificates, business Insurances, Van, Van Tax, Van Insurance, Fuel, Scheme memberships, training costs, publications such as IEE Regs, onsite guide, tools, administration etc

If the customer still thinks that they are going to get the job done properly for £50 then let them carry on - its there insurance!
