New PV Installation - Memory Card Type Thing

I've just moved into a new build house with a PV installation, the sales office have given me a credit card sized, but thicker plastic card with a detachable small memory card type thing. They have said it should go into a computer and contains my mcs certificate but it's too fat to fit in a card reader and isn't a format of memory card I recognise . Does anyone know what it is and what I can use to read its contents?

I think that's a USB card. The black terminal bit should pivot round so that it sticks out from the end of the card and can be plugged into a USB socket on your computer.

That's exactly what is was put it in the USB of my mac and I've got everything I need. Thanks for your help
