Just been looking at a few courses , next big thing maybe ? anyway the "renewable energy courses" have caught my eye , with energy prices on the up and up , it seems a given that alternative energy sources are going to become very popular , things like- solar power , ground source heat pumps , ect any of you lads already installing the next big thing , solar power ect ??

I have completed a wind turbine installation course which is run by Proven Energy in Sterling, Scotland. Was an interesting course dealing with 6KW to 16KW mast mounted turbines. I have also completed a course with smallscale embedded turbines the type which B&Q sell, Windsave. This type is mounted to the gable end of a property. Solar PV was interesting but still in its infancy at the moment, in a few years it will become more financially viable.
The company I work for installs groung source heat pumps, air to air recovery units and solar hot water systems which makes my job extremly interesting and varied
