Calling any trainees out there, If you don't already have access then i suggest that it is well worth joining the forums trainee section. A very helpful place to ask questions and get knowledgeable feedback from the mentors.

Plus there are competitions running regularly and a chance to win tools/resources.

PM one of the mods for access if any of you are interested.

All Trainees are welcome, and will have a great experience in there.
There is always something good happening in the trainee section, everything from free advice , to competitions with prizes.
Or just pop in and have a chat and relax.
It is getting more and more popular by the day.

Please remember ...Unlike the open forum, the Trainee section is only open to Trainees and selected mentors...so any questions or posts will never be met with abuse or criticism. We all have to start our path some where, so feel free to start yours here.....Look forward to helping you all...Tazz

Thanks Tel. I'll go through this thread later and remove any old links.

Hi all i probie here. Been at college one night a week for a year, have one year left at level 2 and then i am on to level 3. I have just got a job as a sparkies mate for fischer future heat. only been there 2 weeks and not sure what i am going to learn yet as all i seem to do is fetch and carry from the van. I dont mind this as long as i am given the chance to learn too. Ideally i would prefere a role with a company/sparkie where i get to practice my skills on the job. Anyway i am sure something will come up. I look forward to chatting to you all.

Welcome Matthew, if you haven't already, fill in the details in the thread above to get access to the trainee section. Well worth it. Enjoy the knowledge in this place.

It has been for me and I can't tell you how useful it has been - questions in my head go in the search bar and are answered because someone posted that previous question. It's not just the regs type questions but comes done to those "how best to do this" questions which you won't read in a text book and you may not even pick up watching over someone's shoulder. That's why every now and again I get a bit 'thanky' at the forum!

Hi guys! Just to introduce myself, I will probably be asking advice and a few opinions from time to time so bare with me as some questions may sound silly! I have completed my Level 2 in electrical instillations and I am currently studying the Level 3 and have a few assignments with scenarios based on plans and there are a few that I am not sure how to interpret the questions or I am second guessing my answers and need a little advice! I Hope you more experienced electricians will be able to help! Thanks in advance! :)
