Hi all
I was at a quarterly maintenance on a Newlec NL5704 Fire Panel today. Happened to notice something and wondered if anyone had an insight.
The panel operates at 24Vdc. The battery that was fitted as a back up was a 12Vdc 7A/h. Simulating a mains failure, the panel held up fine.
Has anyone worked on this panel or a similar one before? No manual on site :nonod:.

The panel works from 12V DC battery.

Its the detector loop that is 24V DC.

probably a firedex,a google should find you a manual
