I have recently set up on my own and after joining nic/eic or napit ETC Which one is the best in terms of cost and helpfulness ??

Also where's best to advertise ? I do yell.com, Facebook, Twitter, google+ and have a website

look at stroma. half the cost of the other scams.

As above. Cheapest. So best one unless you need "the" badge to get certain work.

Thanks not one i heard of before but not bothered who i use will deffo give them a go, just need to work out their website its a bit random
