Hi all,

I have my NIC assessment on Tuesday and only job I've been able to get access to so far is a board change I've done recently as NIC only phoned me Friday to arrange. Question I have is that there’s no isolator in place at the property so wasn't sure if they'll accept a job where ive pulled the main fuse?

Seal it back up. Or if the question’s posed to you about the seals? They were already cut when you got there.

I doubt they’ll be bothered about you pulling the fuse, you’re not meant to work live.

Just to note I have been with NAPIT previously so not

Thank you got the reply. Wasn’t sure if they would say should have waited for DNO to fit an isolator before doing the work or not. Always been NAPIT before and they weren’t fussed

I’m with NAPIT and never had a problem.

I’m sure someone who’s with the NIC will be along soon and advise further.

Depends on how picky they want to be but I have never been questioned over this. What type of service head was it not something old and decrepit.

I was asked about pulling the main fuse at my NIC inspection. Luckily I have had the same inspector for many years so I just joked that a seal fairy came and pulled it while I had brew. Nothing else was said and we moved on. I buy seal kits and reseal the fuse etc after working on it and never had a problem.

I Have never been asked about seals when showing a Scam a board change

Even if they did ask I would just say they were missing when I did the work
