ive paased part p exam and 17thedit. now after 5 years need to join a body in order to certify my own stuff.....was previously working on site & didnt need to....but
now going to be undertaking more private work. i beleive with napit they inspect one job,,,and assess etc,,,this can be a job in your own home....as long as its 2 new ccts,,, ie. extrta lighting in kitchen and maybe a couple of smoke detectors on a sep.cct,.....do i need to appy to building control? i beleive not coz the napit assessor can advise bc afterwards......however is niceic similar? and what will be the procedure? and cost, i know they do instalmen:smug:ts with the fees which will help with cash flow....regards andyp

thats about right but call them both to compare which is best for you or easier lol
 
Napit will allow a two part payment for your first year, ÂŁ216 to start the registration and on site assessment, followed by ÂŁ360 upon completion of the assessment.

in all subsequesnt years annual sunscription of ÂŁ340 + vat can be paid over 3 months.

To be more precise, let me set a scene, you have a watch, and you know how to tell the time with it. People are aware of this.

Then someone decides you have to pay a man getting on for a good weeks' pay, for him to ask you to demonstrate to him that in fact you can .... well, tell the time. He then will confirm this out loud and charge you for it.
