NICEIC Certification Scheme Niceic

The shambles of Part P continues and yes there are rumours that the "intended" changes for new admissions to schemes does appear to have been shelved.

Another failure they can all "chalk up"

no doubt the schemers will come up with a new 5week course for a dumbed down nvq. costing £6000. wire up a socket on a workshop board. survive and pass or die and fail.

no, but there's plenty of cable cobblers, light lunatics, socket squashers and fuse fanatics.

Only if it suits their business criteria of making even more money out of the Electrical Trainee and the like!! They will always find some way or other, to negate any immediate form of improvement to the joke it is at the moment!!

It all revolves around the word "competent", which is more open to interpretation than anything else in any other trade. We need to get rid of that word completely and change it for "fully qualified", or nothing will ever change in our profession.
