Wanting to replace a single loft ceiling rose, with a couple of battens in the region of 4' - 6', so I can see right to the eaves. Obviously they don't need to be non-corrosive, but they'll be exposed to a significant range of temperatures and I don't want to end up in the same position as @westward10

Any recommendations for reliable brands at a reasonable price? The only proviso is that they must come with those triangular thingmabobs in the fitting kit, for suspension.

I'd been drawn to these as they're in stock locally, but wondered if better options exist that aren't subject to CEF's arbitrary pricing policy.
They are good quality as I have fitted many 5 ft twins and singles without any failures (yet). Pity cef are a rip off

Ansell Tornado are good and reasonably priced - bit of a bonus is that Ansell and CEF, in Norn Iron at least, aren't the best of buddy's so you'd be better going to the likes of Mercers or another wholesaler. I think they come with the triangle hooks but can't remember off the top of my head
