Hi i have been asked by my mother if i can change her light in her kitchen (just a standard pendant) for 4 spot lights i am in my second year of college and have got experiance in domestic as i worked with a electrician for 3 years doing domestic rewires and maintainance, i have done this in the past when i was working so i am very confident i can do this work but my question is do i have to notify this to building control or am i just able to do it she has already baught the lights they are fire rated and there is only 4 lights currently on the circuit so is they any help on this please
