Hello I'm a novice home owner. I have a porch with a currently unused 110 wire in a junction box in the roof of the porch. I would like to wire up a wall light switch and put up 2,3 or maybe 4 flood lights on the posts of the porch.
How do I do this? Put up metal conduit lines from the 110 line in the junction box to a switch mounted on the wall and then out to the floods? Can I put 3 or 4 floods and have each one tied to a 3 or 4 switch box?

assuming hot, neutral and ground in the JB, run to switch bank (4 switches) then individual wiring to each flood .use the switches to break just the hots. fit whatever containment is suitable for cable protection. recommend LED floodlights to keep the bills down and protectthe polar bears.

Yes you can add 3 or 4 flood lights. You can install PVC conduit or use outdoor approved cable and staple it on the roof of your porch
