Nursing home??

Hi folks
just one more thing...

what type of installation would a nursing home come under, ie domestic, commercial, industrial, other.....i've put it as 'other' but now i'm not so sure...

I would think it would come the same as Hotels and B&B's... commercial.

Most nursing homes charge a fortune nowadays and are surely 'commercial'?

tested a few nursing homes in past allways put down as commercial myself

Commercial is this your first one?
if so here are a few pointers to ask /limit
1 are there dementia sufferers ,kleptomaniacs ect dont leave anything around even an apprentice they will lift things and put them away "Safe" lol
2 if there are any door controls ( for keeping some "Wandering residents" )
3 Nursecall systems , power for breathing machine thingys (you might not notice and staff might not think to tell you)
4 specialy in Dementia locations Some of residents may be upset by change or think they recognise you
Iv done a fair bit in them previously and the carers have a "Special disposistion" and are generaly happy fun people

It's about time they came up with the category ''Medical'' or ''Medical Facility'' rather than trying to tie it down to something it's not. Let's face it, a medical facility has some pretty specialised installations that won't be found in any industrial or commercial premises, and certainly not in any Domestic location...lol!!!
