Nvq tough decision

Hello everyone

I need todo my nvq as whe I was doing my 2330 there wasn't enough work on for me to complete it and as I was paying for it myself was advised not to carry on by accessor.

I want to do this and I have 2 options pay for it myself over 1000 I have been quoted at college or free at a training centre but will have to to re do my 2330 or whatever it is now which will take 2 years

Do I really need this qualification as I'm also going todo the 2391

Im confused grrrr

to be deemed fully qualified or for jib approved grade then yes (id do the college route pointless redoing 2 years)

Yeah it's pointless doing the 2 years only did it 2 years ago don't know why I can't just do the nvq though

I will also need it for when I start up alone for niceic etc I have been told

nic or any scheme provider dont require nvq for membership. self employed you wont need it. lots of firms would employ without it.

still better to get it though only takes a few weeks to complete

I got told you will need nvq to get niceic at some point soon unless it's changed again lol

it was rumoured to be happening but never came off (next year i think) anyone allready registered are to be excempt from new requirements

but to avoid any problems in the future get it while you can.
