Seeing those old linesman plier brought back from the dead left me feeling warm and fuzy

Think I might give my old tools a quick buff and polish today as I don’t have any work booked till this evening

Reminds me of my old Elliot Lucas pliers with a chunk missing from the cutting blade.

Best pair of pliers I ever had were a really cheap pair of snipe nosed pliers, they were just the perfect size for removing the old type hotpoint carbon brushes.. easy money

Used to love replacing those, one of the easiest type of W/M motors to work on. Motor often mounted at the top of the unit too.
