Hi, have some outside up lights to do (for a mate) currently has just run 1.5mm SWA come to look at the up light what would best way to connect it be? It has a pot to then you screw your light into but on drawing looks like I need adaptable box then some flex to light? I’ll post a similar up light to what he’s got as i can’t find his exact one.

That will be full of condensation/water in no time unless it is in very well draining ground. Not really possible without a lot of extra work
round here.

I only fit IP68 ground lights these days. Either way you’ll need a connection box underground - probably gel filled adjacent to it so you can connect your swa to a flex. Pratley or besa box or whatever
