Hi

just about to start Part P on Monday, they have recomended buying the book for the course its £80.00 do i really need it

thanks

guidance note 3 is a goodun ! but if you join a domestic installer scheme after you will also need the big red book and EAWR as well as the onsite guide so may as well get them now i guess !
Regards
Kung.
P.S. Good luck with the course.

I also had approved document p from the goverment web site you can down load and print it free it is about 25pages long if i remember though but well worth a read it will help with the exam hope this helps Alan

Only books you really need are ON-SITE GUIDE and ELECTRICIANS GUIDE TO THE BUILDING REGS.:D

As said above, the only books you should need for Part P. But, presuming you'll be getting your 2382 17th Ed Regs you will need the book for that. I've done EAL Domestic Installer and my 17thEd update this year, I had to buy all of them eventually. Amazon is best place I've found, sometimes do deals when you buy them all togther. I'd look on there if I were you!

Think you'll need it when you register with NIC etc as well.

Good luck!!
