Have had a Megger PAT4/DV3 for about 10 years and about to replace with a new tester. It cost me about £1K back then. Looking at buying a
Martindale EasyPAT 1600 PAT for £600 ish. It sounds like it will do all we need, but can't find any reviews.
Anyone have experience of these, and can give a review?

Out of curiosity, why that one?
What features do you use/need?
What did you like/dislike about the old model?

No criticism or judgment on it meant, just wondered as often folk who have used a given brand for a long time with success would usually look at the same make for similarity of controls, etc.

The firmware is out of date and it will only download to Win XP or Win 7, which we still use, for PLC programming.
And it's glitchy and quite complicated to process certs.
The new version is about £1600, whilst the Martindale is approx £600.
So if anyone can tell me that the Martindale is:
Easy to use
Easy to use software
Accurate
Then it's a no-brainer
