Yes it was moulded plug but someone cut and put the new 13 A plug with earth pinIs this question relating to moulded 13amp plug as fitted by manufacturer verses standard 13amp plug?
Cause if neither plug had /have an earth pin it would be a struggle to find anywhere to plug it in.
Old one had the plastic pin. I dont know why was replaced.Doesn't matter the new plug has an earth pin. Did the old one have a plastic earth pin and why was it replaced.
But the new one has normal earth pinDidn't need replacing because it had a plastic earth pin.
Yes. But the cable is not through his lenght A II class. It's not an issue. No earth is connected to the appliance or its supply cable. It is still class II.
If I have a Class II equipment and someone cut the plug and replaced for a new plug with earth pin. Is it will be pass or fail.
Only if there’s one of those pesky rcd things involved!!!The Neutral wired to the Earth pin may be a problem ...
To make sure and I like to have a few opinionsYou've obviously made up your mind already, so not sure why you asked the question in the first place.
So the plug is not the part of the appliance???It is the appliance which is Class II not the plug which cannot be Class II.
