Looking for a small piece of paxolin or other insulating board. Roughly 300mm x 200mm

CEF have 600mm squares, no off cuts. Forty quid, but I don’t think I’d use the remaining.

I could use plain plastic, like an enclosure box lid, but I’m guessing it has to be fire retardant as well as electrically insulating.

How soon do you need it?
I've got about 2 sq. m could chop a bit off but it's not here,
Might have some Tufnol here, bit thick though.
Will have a look.

Need it like yesterday, but thanks for the offer.

I think now the lad in CEF gave the wrong price. Online I can get a bit 1200x600 for just over £40

Is Tufnol another trade name? I’ll try eBay

Paxolin is resin-bonded paper a.k.a. SRBP.
Tufnol is resin-bonded cotton fabric.
The CEF price did sound a bit steep but it does depend on the thickness.

I might have to cannibalise some old switchgear just to find a little bit, lol.

MDF and some brown paint. No one will know. ?

whatever happened that beardy Australian fella that used to play the wobbleboard on telly?

he's growing his beard on jail time.
