Hello all,

I've been offered a job as a Quality Supervisor here in London for a small firm I am subcontracting my services to. The role will obviously involve lots of testing, dealing with the NIC, part office based and partly on site. There will also be design work involved, depending on the size of certain projects (I hold both 2391-10 Inspection & Testing and 2391 -20 Design, Erection & Verification qualifications).

I am going to discuss a day rate for the position with the company. I am unsure of what rates of pay I should expect, and thought I would ask older, more experienced sparks what to expect. I have 10 years experience in domestic, commercial and industrial fields. The position would obviously entail certain responsibilities that a typical installation electrician would not have.

How much money should I ask for per day?

I dont want to be greedy, nor undervalue myself!

Thankyou

Dave
