Hi I know how to test PFC at the origin of the Installation but how do you test PFC at other points in the installation does this mean on the individual circuits like the ends of them, and what about the earthing conductor is it disconnected or connected.and if disconnected why?

Main earth and bonding should all be connected as you want the lowest loop impedances possible (that the parallel paths create) so that you get the highest posssible PFC and you can then select the correct short circuit capacity for the protective device.

You want to obtain the Maximum PFC possible so conduct the test at the origin with the earthing condutors and main protective onding condutors connected.

By carrying out at the origin this is the maximum value. Theres no need to conduct the PFC tests for each circuit as this is to determine the short circuit capacticity of the circuit breaker. If needed you can use the value recored at the origin to substitue values of the individual circuis. This is since the PFC will reduce due to the resistance of the circuits so using the PFC at origin will and save you time.
