HI all
I bought this kit for my BMW. Fits to front of car, cables run into engine compartment to connect to battery. My problem is I have a BMW (Battery in the boot)So i need to extend cables positive and negative from engine compartment to boot. Could someone help, and tell me what size cable i need.

Thank you

6 watts is only 0.5 A, so only a small cable is required for the current.however volt drop might be a problem, so I'd recommend 1.0mm cable as a minimum. make sure it's fused down from battery at no more than 10A.

that's problem with modern cars. first they fit the engine sideways, then put battery in the boot. next thing will be wheels on the roof. ( rthen again, way some of these boy racers drive, that might be a good idea).
