I currently have 2 ceiling lights in my living room that I wish to replace with 2 Phillips Hue lights. The current lights are turned on and off together via a 2 gang switch with the second switch operating the light in the conservatory (which has a Hue bulb)
I would like to remove the current switch (if possible) and cover the wiring with a blanking plate so I can use the Hue Dimmer accessory (via the Hue Bridge), and Siri to operate the lights in each room. In order to do this, I obviously need power to the lights to remain on constantly.
Is this possible? If so - how do I isolate the switch but maintain the circuit?
thanks in advance
Dave
