pir floodlight

Hi , i have just bought a second hand pir sensor floodlight , tho brand new still boxed - no wiring instruction's , sods law lol . Although power source and switch not a problem , with the feed being earth nuetral and live , i have 4 conections in the light itself being L , L1 , E and N . The L1 connector has the pir wires coming from the reverse side , do i connect the the live to this and the earth to earth an nuetral to the nuetral ? .

If there's nothing on the load side of L then that's for the loop if you have one, so connect the switched line to L1, E to E and N to N.

Dan , Hi and many thanks , Was going to connect the L to the L then loop to the L1 but will just connect the L to the L1 , cheers mate . Jay

the "spare" terminal will be to connect an override switch or to feed a second light.
