Pir motion sensor correct type

Hi

I have a fluorescent light fitting for a suspended ceiling (600 mm x 600 mm) it is wired to a 240 volt supply
I was thinking of introducing a pir motion sensor, so as to cut my electricity bills etc
I would like a sensor to have the following features:

1. 360 degrees

2. 240v

3. Adjustable/variable timer range up to 15 mins

4. To be able to keep the light ON continuously if I required from the wall switch

5. Flush recessed fitting

6. White in colour

So keeping “budget” in mind, which pir should I purchase, and how do I wire it if additional wiring is involved to achieve the result that I am after etc

Please be specific and feel free to elaborate graphically as any help will be appreciated

first change the 600 x 600 florry for LED.

Like this as one of many options, but very dependent on what wiring you have at the moment.:

The fluorescent should not be set to switch on and off frequently as that will reduce its life, long periods are better. (or do as Telectrix says!)
Some such as the LAP pir sensor from screwfix 9695V can be manually overridden by rapid switching at the wall switch if you did not wish to rewire the switch.

You haven't said what your budget is but generally you will get a more reliable unit with a higher end pir.

I would think the major cost would be employing a sparky to install/alter the wiring/test and certificate.
I didn't think we were to give specific advice on this forum like 'how to connect something in' or diagrams?
