Just a quick question really,
Have recently past my inspect & test and thought that was the done deal and that I wouldn't bother getting cert as I didn't fancy the household work stuff.
I was under the impression from my instructor that I was now qualified to do PIRs, however in the pub tonight my local Sparky says I still need to be paying all the dosh whereas I thought this was just for part p.

Newbie and help info reqd. Ta

Some scheme providers charge an additional cost if you wish to issue certs with their name on them.

Other than that you can use standard forms.

Cool,
That's what I thought. As a qualified competent person I can issue the standard form.

You could just download the IEE one, however I would point out that you should make sure that you have some professional Indemity Insurance cover in place to cover you for testing. ;)

It depends if you have the 2391 or the 2392 also the 1st pir does not fall within the scope of part P but if the installation is found not to comply, any additional pir's must be reported to building control.
