i've just done a pir
i noticed that before the meter there is two rewirable 80a fuses, one live and one on the neutral,
am i right in thinking that double pole fusing is wrong
i know that its before the meter and therefore not my responsibility but should i put a note the pir
cheers ????

I would contact the supplier about this and also note it on your PIR.

You haven't said what type of property it is but either way it should be sorted.

See attached from Part P

Did you check to see if there was a fuse in the fuse holder.

Sometimes a solid copper bar is in place of the fuse on the neutral side.

Can someone help me with this one, I am aware that a fuse in the supply neutral is illegal now, as there is a 50 % chance of this fuse blowing under fault, leaving the phase live and this would pose a hazard obviously to anyone working on the circuit.
Is this dealt with by reporting to the supplier ( obviously the proper way ) can Ii have comments please on the practice of putting a heavier wire in the neutral fuse than exists in the hot side. I ask because this is one I have not come across yet.
