Hi Guys,New member here,i need to replace my present pull cord switch in my bathroom with a pir motion sensor, whats the easiest solution,i only have 3 wires in the switch Red-Black and green/yellow earth. Also I would like to put a pir motion switch to replace the my on/off switch in the hall, again 3 wires Red, and Black with a red sleeve and normal earth.I have some pir but they both seem to need an extra wire, whats the best way forward or is it bite the bullet and call in an expert to do the job,i am not stupid and if it just run some more wiring to lamps then I can cope.Answers Please,Cheers Paul.

the problem you have is that there is no neutral at the switch. best call in a local electrician .

How well do these work? I've been working on a new building with automatic lights everywhere, and for example if you take a dump there's a good chance of the lights going off before you've finished.

Thanks Guys, sussed the bathroom light, just ran a neutral wire from lamp to new motion sensor switch.
The Hall was not so easy, difficult to get the wire down the wall to switch so gave up,and ordered a no neutral switch from Sparks.
Thanks for the info wirepuller.
