I have a clever spa portable spa and as soon as i plug it in the rcd plug trips. What rcd plug can i get to replace it. Is it the rcd plug thst is faulty?

Not sure exactly what is tripping, sounds like an RCD unit that plugs into a socket?

In which case, the RCD plug-in unit could be faulty, or the spa itself could be faulty, or the socket that you are plugging the RCD into could be faulty. Without any testing, it is just a wild guess.

Its a rcd on the end of the power cord from the spa. I have replaced it with a 30 ma one but that trips too. The original rcd is 10 ma , would the 30 not work? I suspect a faulty rcd as the spa is only 2 months old. Do you know if these inflatable tubs have specic type rcd,s?

You've ruled out the RCD by swapping it out, but not interpreted the result of your testing. The other elimination test is to plug a different device into the same point with the RCD back in. If not tripping immediately, it will be the hot tub

There is a fault on the spa and it should not be used until it has been repaired.

The RCD is a safety device doing its job and swapping it for one with a different rating is against the manufacturers design and potentially unsafe.
