Discuss Plumbers doing electrical in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

it says "basic electric"...
That means changing a lightbulb. Which is about as much as most wetpants can manage.
I was once a wet pants doing work through an agency for an NHS subcontractor. The basic electric work would involve the boss asking if anyone was up for doing a specific electrical install job and an agency wet pants says yes I can do that.
The contractor the agency had me working for were actually a painting and decorating company who had some how convinced a NHS facilities manager that they could do all trades.

i coined that term about 10 years ago. was going to be wet-arse or sh!t for brains, but forum management said it was derogatory. it's plumbers, FFS. hnow derogatory can you be. :p:p:p:p.
